Garrett Ministries

Youth Ministries

Garrett Student Ministry (7th-12th) meets together each Wednesday night at 6 P.M. in the student ministry building(The Summit) behind the gymnasium to engage in an in-depth Bible study and fellowship.  On Sunday nights the students are with their families participating in the LifeGroup ministry of our church.  They are also encouraged to serve in assisting with teaching children and other discipleship opportunities.

Children's Ministries

At Garrett, we love family. We aim to support our faith family, even our little ones.  On Wednesday nights at 6 P.M., you will find us teaching, laughing with, and learning with our kids (ages 3 to 6th grade).
On Sunday mornings, we offer Children’s Church for ages 3-6.  Also, we are pleased to have children in the service with their parents.

Music & Media Ministry

Our Music Ministry leads the congregation in worship by sharing the gospel of Christ through song.   The Music Ministry provides a pathway to share their gift and be an integral part of the worship experience.
Our music ministry could not be heard without the technical support of our Media Ministry.  Our Media Ministry oversees all the technical aspects of our worship service via sound and digital needs.

Life Groups

A typical Sunday night at a LifeGroup might consist of coffee, going through the handout, concentrated prayer, and just hanging out.  Some LifeGroups have even been known to break out the guitar and piano and have a jam session!  GMBC’s strategy to fulfill Ephesians 4:7-16 is bound up in these LifeGroups.  The means of the church’s stability and growth are directly linked to the church being able to minister to itself.

Equip U

Wednesday night and/or Sunday Morning is a great opportunity for you to jump into a Bible study that will really help you move forward in your walk with Christ!  We offer different expositional studies through a book of the Bible or a relevant topic that further reinforces what we believe as a faith family.  There are at least 4 different studies to choose from and each study has a duration of 6-8 weeks.  During the interval time between studies we come together for month of corporate worship and prayer.  This is a very special time where we are able to hear from different people about the impact the previous study had on their life, and come together as a faith family to pray for our community, state, nation, and world.  This begins at 6:00 p.m. each Wednesday night.

Monday Night Basketball

Monday nights consist of shooting hoops, bible lessons, and a filling meal to serve our students.  We encourage students to come show up around 6 P.M.in the gym. We believe in teaching through opening God’s word and playing basketball.  God’s word is accessible on and off the court
